Some Questions I get Frequently about my work…

Where can I buy your work?

My work is available for purchase in store and on the web through a variety of local organizations including Sawtooth’s gift shop and Hudson’s Hill. On special occasions I open my online shop and sell directly on my website. Be sure to join my mailing list to receive announcements and news about when and where my work is available.

How do I care for hand made woodenware products?

Always hand wash and dry ASAP to preserve the life of your woodenware. Re-season periodically with food-safe mineral oil, a readily available product in the pharmacy section of any grocery store. Other cooking oils (vegetable, coconut, canola) will do in a pinch, but mineral oil has the advantages of being colorless, flavorless, and much more shelf-stable.

How do you make these things???

Every object is 100% handmade. All utensils are carved, shaped and sanded from blocks of wood, specially selected by tree species and for beautiful qualities in the grain. There’s a little bit of whimsy in every piece. My designs change and develop over time and though some products are produced in batches, no two are exactly alike.
